Hair Director - Jo Seymour

Jo began her exciting career with an apprenticeship in the multi award-winning Chagall Salon, in Auckland New Zealand.  She moved to Sydney in 2001 after completing her training to pursue a career within the editorial and high fashion arena.

In 2004 Jo began working for acclaimed hairdresser Anthony Nader @ Raw hair salon (2006 Hairdresser of the Year) further extending her skills as a hairstylist.  Jo was also nominated as a Finalist for the "Most Artistic Creative Team" in the 2006 Australian Hairdressing Awards. During her tenure at Raw salon Jo drew from Anthony's expert tutelage and worked on many of Australia's A-List celebrity clientele.

Jo has been a yearly participant in the world reknown Mercedes/Rosemount Fashion Week held in Sydney, and also the seasonal David Jones Fashion Parades held at Fox Studios.  

Jo has a passion for excellence in hairstyling and a drive to see every wedding leave a lasting impression for those involved.  She approaches her work with a rare and artistic dedication.    

Make-up Director & Hairstylist - Bonita Chan

Bonita began working in the corporate world after a few years at university, but has always enjoyed everything with beauty, cosmetics and make-up.  During a 3-year stint as a children’s party entertainer, she began a make-up certificate at 3 Arts Make-up Academy in Chippendale in 2000 and has never looked back.

Immediately after qualifying, Bonita's make-up career began with cosmetic house Lancome and then quickly moved onto a senior make-up artist position with Mecca Cosmetica in mid-2001.  Bonita's extensive knowledge of skin / beauty products and cosmetic ingredients has solidified her reputation as a highly talented and technical make-up artist, and training with each "brand expert / guest make-up artist" in-store has broadened her knowledge even more.   Whilst at Mecca, she has taught and hosted many make-up workshops and events dealing regularly with the Beauty Editors looking for the latest make-up trends.

Bonita has also had the privilege of gaining industry experience early on, formerly assisting and honing her beautiful make-up skills with some of Australia's elite and highly acclaimed make-up artists including Dotti, Liz Jones, Linda Jefferyes and Rae Morris; international beauty author and Make-up Director for L’oreal.

Her skills are impeccable and flawless.  Bonita's beauty training reflects in her gorgeous make-up work and although Bonita's brides enjoy her sophisticated, natural, elegant style, she could be inspired to create something unique to suit whatever make-up theme you choose.
